A look back at 2017: a year of growth, creativity and change

With the frenzie of the holiday season officially upon us, I wanted to take a moment to create space and reflect on the year so far, as 2017 was truly a year of growth, creativity and change for me.

With the frenzy of the holiday season officially upon us, I wanted to take a moment to create space and reflect on the year so far. 2017 was truly a year of growth, creativity and change for me. I started South of Thirty, launched this blog and became a Life Coach – all while raising my toddler and returning to work full time after a wonderful maternity leave.

There were definitely challenges along the way, as I continued seeking balance personally and professionally, but there were so many unexpected opportunities that popped up as well. I love working as a Life Coach, and have felt such an immense amount of personal growth as a result of my new career choice. I honestly didn’t believe people when they said “when you find what you love it won’t feel like work”. I thought that would always be the case for me, but I have definitely been proved wrong and I love that. I’ve created amazing connections with both clients, followers and fellow bloggers as I explore this brand new space of creativity and entrepreneurial adventure.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me on this journey and who keeps coming back to South of Thirty because they find it helpful, inspirational or interesting. I have some big things in the work for 2018 and I am so excited to share them in the New Year!
